He is more older than he looks.

Hello!
He is more older than he looks.
'Old' is short and shouldn't be preceded by 'more'.

Hello,
Basic rule: He is older and more elegant than me.
But you could say:
He is much older and much more elegant than me. Much, a lot and far are optional.
He is a lot older and a lot more elegant than me.
He is far older and far more elegant than me.
