1 How difficult for everyone this time of resuming work is !

II version . Date : Paris , Juillet 1960 , comme disent les journalistes de la télévision . J' avais vingt anse t je mourais de faim . Cela faisait deux jours que je n' avais rien mangé , si ce n' est la moitié d' un sandwich au fromage que j' avais trouvé dans la doublure de mon manteau . Je me souviens avoir mangé la première moitié à la fin du mois de Mai de cette année là .Il m' avait fallu une semaine pour faire de l' auto stop jusqu' à Paris depuis l' Italie , et j' étais fauché . Avant mon départ de Milan , mon ami Sylvano m' avait dit qu' il connaissait à Paris quelqu' un qui pourrait me donner du travail . Il s' appelait Mangiaroti . Apparemment , il n' avait pas de prénom et il était peintre .
