Bonjour
j'ai un devoir d'anglais à faire pour la rentrée. Je voudrais si possible de l'aide pour la correction des fautes d'orthographe et de grammaire.
Merci pour votre aide !
Flash Looting
This text is a documentary on flash looting in USA.
Firstly, the document tells us the events of the summer of 1977. During the New York blackout, the angry and frustrated people achieved a citywide looting.
Secondly, the text shows us the role of the media to unify angry crowds and to give angry frustrated people an excuse to act in masse.
The writer gives the example of Hitler: he used radio in Rwanda to encourage the chasing down and murder of 800.000 Tutsis.
Then, it talks about the positive and the negative aspects of social network.
The positive role is to coordinate the activities of protesters acting against a repressive regime and the negative role is to orchestrate flash looting of stores or mob beating.
As a conclusion, the writer submits us two questions:
- Does the access to the technology can be turned team of person into a gang of thieves?
- Has it empowered the mob and changed the crowd behaviour?
