Hello,
Could you help me, please?
I have five grandchildren.
Nell is 6 months, is small.
Then Amelia 11 years,
Susanna 13 years,
Nadia16 years
Matthias 19 years.
What adjectives should be used at a graduation / comparing and when. Thinking about small, smaller, smallest, young, younger .. old, older ...

Hi,
You can say: Nell is the youngest;Amelia is the second youngest.(Amelia is older than Nell.)(Nell is younger than Amelia.)Susanna is the middle one.(Susanna is older than Amelia.)(Amelia is younger than Susanna.)Nadia is the second oldest.(Nadia is older than Susanna.)(Susanna is younger than Nadia.)Matthias is the oldest.(Matthias is older than Nadia.)(Nadia is younger than Matthias.)

Hello,
In comparing ages, use old,older,oldest and young,younger,youngest.
Where there are only two use -er not -est.
