Pardonnez-moi...but while we're on the topic of toilets...I'm surprised that you didn't mention the loo which is ...so British.
Also, the correct expression for 10 is " in that tone" or "to take that tone with someone". If you don't believe me, check my old friends Mr. Oxford and Mr. Cambridge. I am told they are reliable friends.
