Contraction/Noise of cars

Bonjour !
Je suis actuellement en prépa maths spé et doit faire une contraction de 130 mots +/- 10%, pouvez-vous me la corriger ?
To ease the noise of cars has always been a priority since the appearance of electric car. It was reckoned like a major factor of sound pollution, but the lack of noise presents a drawback too. Indeed, pedestrians are not able to foresee the arrival of electric cars because they produce almost no noise. That’s why UN may require a law targeting a sound minimum. Nowadays, Japan is the only country whiwh sets up this kind of regulation.
However, the created sound must not disturb the urbanization . It has to be reassuring but identifiable naturally. Enginner of sounds are working on this project to use a noise fulfilling these constraints. Nevertheless, this task seems difficult because of we are use to hearding thermal motors thus some carmakers like Hyundai just envisage to reproduce this sound for the electric cars.
