The word 'being' is a noun or a verb.

As a noun, it has several meanings : first, a 'being' is a living creature, someone who 'is'

a human being : a human person

The first human being appeared on Earth some 400,000 years ago.

the human beings : the humans group (all the humans on Earth)

Sorry, I think of no example.

Then, there are some expressions :

for the time being : for the moment, temporarily

I arrived three days ago to settle here, and I am living at the hotel for the time being, but I am looking for an appartment.

to be still in being : still to exist

Is the bakery near the mall  still in being ? Does the bakery near the mall still exist ?

As a verb, 'being' is a form of 'to be', which is explained on the site anglais.facile.com, with examples and training. Sorry I don't know the link of the exercise !
