1) The conference will take place in late March.
2) Why didn't you expect them to agree with us ?
3) It's no use complaining.
4) You needn't worry, it'll be done.
5) The company's remarkable performance has surprised everybody, including its managers. ( Is there any trap here ? If yes, I must have fallen into it, I'm afraid !)
6) He doesn't earn half as much money.
7) They heard him talk to himself.
( To be honest, I would have written "talking" if it had been listed...Is there any difference between "talk" and "talking" in such a context ? Please Denzel, could you tell it me ? Thank you !)
8) What did he call the game he explained to us ?
9) He left our city a year ago and now lives farther north.
10) He likes to have people come and visit him.

CORRECTION.
1. ... take place in late March.
-> La conférence aura lieu fin mars.
2. Why didn't you expect them to agree wiht us?
-> Pourquoi ne vous attendiez-vous pas à ce qu'ils soient d'accord avec nous ?
"To expect" se construit comme to "want" : What do you want me to do?
Dans "Why didn't you expect them to agree...", "them" est à la fois complément de "to expect" et sujet de "to agree".

3. It's no use complaining.
- It's no good + gérondif (cela ne sert à rien de...)
- There's no + gérondif (il n'y a pas moyen de...)
- It's worth + gérondif (cela vaut la peine de...)
- It's not worth + gérondif (cela ne vaut pas la peine de...)
- To be busy + gérondif (être occupé(e) à...)

4. You needn't/(don't need to) worry, it...
- You needn't (need not) do it.
EX: - She needs to do it (Elle a besoin de le faire)
- She doesn't need to do it (Elle n'a pas besoin de le faire)

5. The company's... including its managers.
6. ...half as much money.
-Give me only half as many opportunities and I will succeed.
- How many books has he got? - Half as many.(Combien de livres a-t-il ?
- Moitié moins.

7. They heard him talk/talking to himself.
Après "to hear", "to see", on peut avoir la construcion:

8. What did he call...?
-> Comment appelait-il/a-t-il appelé le jeu qu'il nous a expliqué ?
? Comment appelle-t-on... On emploie en revanche "what": What's your name?
9. ... lives farther/further North (plus au nord)
10. "come":"to have"+nom/pronom+inf.sans "to" = faire faire qqch à quelqu'un.(I'll have them work = je les ferai travailler)
