Hello,I am learning English at home andthere are I've got some problems about the simple present tense and the present continous :
Which tense do you put the verbs in brackets and pls why?
1)I (wear) my sunglasses today because the sun is very strong.
2)This car (make) a very strange noise. You (think) it is all right?
3)Stop!You (not see)the notice?
I (see)it but I cant read it because I (not wear) my glasses.
That's all
My answer is different from the answer in my book. I don't understand. Could you help me?
Thank you(r) very much.

Je crois que tu devrais revoir la différence entre le "simple present" et le "present continuous"

Thank Savana for your answer.
Why do you put the verb "make" into the present continuous?
Both verb "wear"here are putted into the present continous. This is an answer key.But i think it will better if they are putted into the simple present.

"putted" ?? ... you should have brushed up on your verbs too before posting
Actually almost all the verbs should be in the present continuous tense.

I want to use the passive, because the verb cant put by itself
Sorry for my "putted"
To Nicolas, could you tell me why do you put almost the verbs into the present continous?
Thank a lot

Hi, maybe this will help you. Here is an example of the use of the present simple and present continuous with 'wear'
I often wear jeans, but I'm wearing a skirt today.
If it is usually, often, always or sometimes we use the present simple. If it is today, now, at the moment we use the present continuous.
Best Wishes,
