Je trouve chez Ann Cleeves, dont les romans policiers donnent naissance au feuilleton Vera :
She was as mad as a snake .
Je connaissais plutôt as mad as a hatter.
Un autre étonnement.
Each day, she returned a reading book. She had already moved on to the ones with orange stickers on the spines. Most of the children in the class were still reading the blues. Inhabituel, un pluriel d'adjectif pris comme nom.
